| this was from a while back when GHII was new and the RO Wireless controller just came out. All I used was a sharpie, and a tremolo are from a strat. I also sanded the frets off and sanded the fret buttons smooth and removed the nub on the yellow. I've done mods to many other controllers since then ( my favourite being a yellow Explorer with Mr Peanut stickers ) , but I no longer have a camera. | |

| Wow, awesome job. It almost looks like electrical tape rather than sharpie. | |

| Wait...you sanded the frets off? AND sanded them smooth. So they're there but just on level with the rest of the neck now right?
Oh, and if you colored them with sharpie... doesn't it gradually rub off on your fingers?

I opened it up and in the back, the only thing that is supporting the whammy is a metal ring. I popped that off and it came right out. The whammy bar was now removable, I could take it out and put it back in whenever I wanted. I then took a tremolo arm from a Strat's vintage tremolo, and put it in the hole where the GH whammy used to be.

You don't even have to do that for the Les Pauls, unless I broke mine somehow, but I am very careful. If I am not mistaken, you can just screw it out.
