| So yeah...anyone mind if i ask for advice?
As a child my dad used to smoke and I always got scared he would die or something...so he promised me he would stop for ever. Recently I noticed if we are eating he would always make weird excuses to leave and it makes me suspicious. Recently I was having dinner with some relatives and I asked where my dad is and my uncle said "probably smoking" then someone shushed him. So...yeah...I still have the fear of him dying and I really dont want him to smoke...on the other hand I dont want to interfere with his life....but i am his son....agh **** i need help how should i confront this? If these kinds of topics arent aloud please lock or delete

| It's allowed I'm sure, theres not any rule against asking for help.
This is what I told my mom. I know your addicted to smoking, but your gonna make everyone elses life worse if you die(me,my sister) just so you can benefit? It's just not worth the risk. Sad Face was included

| You need to tell him how much you'll miss him if something happens to him. I know that's kinda wishy washy, but it may help him understand the severity of what he's doing.
Good luck | |
