These aren't premade ranks.

They are premade by Leaf. After a set number of posts you get a new rank.

(And your getting started on the wrong track. Im not a mod, Im not anything, I might even get an infraction for this (sorry leaf). but that was a fight starter. I don't like that. And online fighting/flamefests are dumb, so this is the only thing Ill say to you. You gotta watch yourself, be courtious thanks.)

The custom ranks are just fine. I can't wait til I get a god guitarist. Pretty good to shoot for I believe.

He made the ranks for a reason. Everyone has a title. Your title shows whether you're good or not. You're lucky there's a preset way to tell who has many posts and whatnot without having to look at the memberlist.

It's almost like 'leveling up' in RPG's. You want people to know your character is level 13/20 or something. Yeah. It makes you work hard to get rid of the 'Noob' ranking and earn for something better. Who knows, once you get 5000 posts he might let you name the 5000 post rank. Never know.

Yes, but most people look at your name rather that under your avatar. And let's be like all forums, shall we?

Anyway, I do not want to fight about it. We both have different opinions. Leaf can do what he wants.

Leaf wants custom ranks, he just doesn't know it yet.

The thing about custom ranks is they're hard to enforce. When has someone done good enough to deserve a promotion? How can we keep an eye on everyone's posts? The system we have is if you're a bad poster you will get infractions, that prevents people from just posting to increase their ranks (except in posting games -_-). The ranks are fine, and I doubt leaf will want them changed.
